[ Hong Kong - Gradual relaxation of quarantine measures ]
The Hong Kong government announced that quarantine measures for entering the country would gradually relax. For Hong Kong residents, the compulsory quarantine period will be shortened to seven days after June 30, only if they have a history of staying in high-risk countries including Japan, medium-risk countries and Taiwan only within 14 days of entering the border. They must have been vaccinated, have a negative result in the nucleic acid test at the time of entry into the country, and have a positive result in the antibody test within the past three months. For non-Hong Kong residents, if these conditions are met, the mandatory quarantine period will be shortened to seven days, and the start date is currently under consideration. The antibody test must be done at a designated laboratory and submitted on a prescribed form. Antibody testing service at the airport is scheduled to start in July. The cost of the test is at your own expense and the results are valid for 3 months. The test will also require a blood sample.
