タイ政府は、プーケットでワクチンの接種を完了した外国人旅行者を隔離措置なしで受け入れることを正式に決定しました。これは、「プーケット・サンドボックス」モデルと呼ばれる措置で、7月1日から開始されます。7月15日からはサムイ島で、その後数ヶ月以内にクラビ，パンガー，パタヤ，チェンマイ，ブリーラムでも導入する予定です。このモデルの対象者は、タイ公衆衛生省が定めた新型コロナウイルス感染レベル低～中リスクの国からの入国者。タイ入国前、少なくとも21日間、その指定国に滞在していることが条件とされます。また、タイ入国14日前までに、世界保健機関(WHO)が承認したワクチンの接種を完了し、その接種証明書を保持している必要があります。6歳以下の子供については、両親あるいは保護者がワクチン接種を完了していれば入国が認められます。過去に感染歴のある旅行者もワクチン接種が必要です。さらに、出発72時間前までにPCR検査を受け、入国時に陰性証明書を提示する必要があるほか、最低10万ドルの補償範囲を持つ新型コロナウイルス健康保険にも加入していることが求められます。到着後もPCR検査を受けることが必要。また、タイ政府が指定する警告アプリのインストールが求められ、検査結果は、そのアプリに通知されます。滞在は指定のホテルに限定。陰性の場合、プーケット島内の移動は自由です。プーケットからタイ国内の他の目的地への移動は、プーケットに14泊以上していれば、認められます。サムイ島での滞在については、最初の3泊は滞在施設内での移動のみ認められ、4泊～7泊の間は、島内の特定ルートのみの移動を許可。8泊～14泊の間では、サムイ島，パンガン島，タオ島の間の往来が認められます。このほか、バンコク，チャアム，ホアヒンなど他のエリアについては、今年10月あるいは第4四半期中にも、ワクチン接種を完了した外国人旅行者の受け入れを再開する予定です。

[ Thai Government Officially Decides to Accept Vaccinated Travelers ]

The Thai government has officially decided to accept foreign travelers who have completed their vaccinations in Phuket without any quarantine measures. This measure, called the "Phuket Sandbox" model, will begin on July 1. It will be introduced in Koh Samui starting July 15, and in Krabi, Phang Nga, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Buriram within the next few months. The target population for this model is people entering the country from countries with a low to medium risk of novel coronavirus infection level as defined by the Thai Ministry of Public Health. The applicant must be in the designated country for at least 21 days before entering Thailand and must also complete a World Health Organization (WHO)-approved vaccination at least 14 days prior to entering Thailand and hold a certificate of vaccination. Children under six years of age are allowed to enter the country as long as both parents or guardians have been vaccinated. Vaccination is also required for travelers who have a history of infection in the past. In addition, they must undergo PCR testing at least 72 hours prior to departure and present a negative certificate upon entry, as well as have a new coronavirus health insurance policy with a minimum coverage of $100,000. You are still required to take the PCR test upon arrival. You will also be required to install an alert app designated by the Thai government, which will notify you of your test results. Your stay is limited to the designated hotels. If you test negative, you are free to travel within Phuket Island. Travel from Phuket to any other destination in Thailand is allowed, provided that you stay at least 14 nights in Phuket. For the first three nights of their stay on Koh Samui, they will only be allowed to travel within the facilities; for the next four to seven nights, they will only be allowed to travel on specific routes within the island; and for the next eight to 14 nights, they will be allowed to travel between Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. In addition, other areas such as Bangkok, Cha-am and Hua Hin will resume accepting foreign tourists who have been vaccinated in October or during the fourth quarter of this year.
