米国国務省、日本を『渡航中止』に JALとANA、運航継続
米国務省は現地時間5月24日、日本に対する渡航レベルを最も高い「レベル4」に引き上げ、米国民に対し渡航中止を求めました。日本国内で新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）が流行していることによるものです。国務省は米CDC（疾病予防管理センター）の渡航健康情報を受け、レベル4に引き下げました。CDCは日本について「ワクチンを接種した場合でもコロナ変異株の感染・拡散のリスクがある」とし、すべての旅行を避けるべきとし、日本へ渡航する場合は、渡航前のワクチン接種を受けるように勧告しました。米国の渡航レベルは引き上げられたものの、JALとANAは米国旅客便のさらなる減便や運休は計画せず、今のところ現状の便数を維持する方針です。両航空会社は旅客機を活用した貨物専用便も運航しており、ANAはこのほか、北米への貨物便に大型貨物機のボーイング777F貨物機を投入しています。

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that Japan "poses a risk of transmission and spread of coronavirus strains even if vaccinated" and that all travel should be avoided.
