世界の航空・空港の格付け調査を行なうスカイトラックス(SKYTRAX)は、「ワールドエアポートアワード2021」を発表しました。トップ10には日本から羽田，成田，関西の3空港がランクインし、羽田空港は、アジア，国内空港，清潔さ，空港スタッフの各部門でトップとなりました。総合トップはカタールのハマド国際空港。トップ10は以下の通りです。

今回のランキングのための旅客調査は、同社が2020年8月～2021年7月の間に実施し、旅客によるパンデミック前と、パンデミック期間中の両方の体験をもとに作成されています。また、新型コロナウイルスのパンデミックによって航空業界が前例のない困難な状況に置かれているなか、今年は特別に新型コロナウイルス感染対策の賞も設定され、世界39空港が受賞し、日本からは中部国際空港，関西国際空港，羽田空港が選ばれました。

SKYTRAX, the world's leading rating agency for airlines and airports, has announced the "World Airport Awards 2021". Haneda, Narita, and Kansai airports from Japan were ranked in the top 10, with Haneda Airport taking the top spot in the categories of Asia, Domestic Airport, Cleanliness, and Airport Staff. The overall top spot went to Qatar's Hamad International Airport. The top 10 are as follows

3. Singapore Changi Airport (Singapore)
4. Incheon International Airport (South Korea)
5. Narita International Airport (Japan)
6. Munich Airport (Germany)

9. Kansai International Airport (Japan)
10. Hong Kong International Airport (Hong Kong)
The passenger survey for this ranking was conducted by the company between August 2020 and July 2021, and is based on passenger experiences both before and during the pandemic. With the aviation industry facing unprecedented challenges due to the new coronavirus pandemic, a special award was also set up this year for countermeasures against the spread of the new coronavirus. 39 airports around the world received the award, with Central Japan International Airport, Kansai International Airport, and Haneda Airport being selected from Japan.
