日本のワクチンパスポート発行は7月下旬から開始、当初は紙で、デジタル化の検討も

加藤官房長官は2021年7月1日の会見で、日本のワクチン接種証明（いわゆるワクチンパスポート）について、実際の発行が7月下旬から開始される予定であることを明らかにしました。7月中旬に予防接種法施行規則を交付し、自治体によるワクチン接種記録システム(VRS)の試行が行われた後となる見通しです。現在は、自治体向けの説明会を受けて、自治体からの質問を受けている段階。また、ワクチン接種証明書の交付事務や記載事項について規定するため、予防接種法施行規則の改正作業を鋭意進めているところだとしましたました。パスポートの形態については、開始当初は紙による発行のみですが、並行してデジタル化の検討を進めていくと付け加えました。
