日本のワクチンパスポート、7月26日から申請受付開始、各市町村で対象国・地域への渡航のみ、費用は国費で
加藤官房長官は2021年7月12日の記者会見で、ワクチンパスポートについて、予防接種法施行規則の一部改正の施行日である7月26日から各市区町村において、申請受付を開始すると発表しました。発行は、接種証明書の提示によって防疫措置の緩和が認められる国・地域に渡航する場合に限定されます。接種証明書の提示によって入国可能な国・地域については、最新状況を外務省のホームページで随時公表します。申請は、申請書のほかパスポートなどの添付書類を提出し、接種当時に住民票があった市区町村で行います。申請から発行までの期間については、即日交付あるいは若干日数を要する場合もあるとして、各市区町村に確認するように求めました。費用については、当面国費で措置をし、申請者には手数料を求めませんが、郵送の場合は申請者が実費を負担することになります。このほか、加藤官房長官は、ワクチンパスポートの海外との相互認証について、「現時点で具体的なことは決まっていない。国内外の議論や各国の対応から知見を収集しながら検討を進めていく。国内でワクチン接種者をどのように考えていくのかも議論していく必要がある。」との発言にとどめました。
