日本政府観光局（JNTO）は、外国人旅行者向け公式グローバルサイト「Travel Japan – The Official Japan Guide」の日本語化に着手しました。国内各地域の観光コンテンツを日本人向けに周知し、国内旅行の新たな魅力発見に繋げる狙いです。まずは、体験型観光コンテンツを集めた「Experiences in Japan」ページのうち、33コンテンツを日本語で公開しました。日本語には英語も併記されています。今後、残りのコンテンツも順次、日本語で発信し、グローバルサイトの日本語化を進めていく方針です。


JNTO started to translate foreign tourist-oriented websites into Japanese, aim to promote the local tourism from a foreign perspective

The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has started to translate "Travel Japan - The Official Japan Guide", the official global website for foreign travelers, into Japanese. The aim is to help the Japanese people discover new attractions of domestic travel from a foreign perspective. At first, 33 sections of the "Experiences in Japan" page, which includes experiential tourism contents, were made available in both Japanese and English. From now on, the remaining contents will be published in Japanese to promote the localization of global sites.
